July and August gigs at the Princeton Pub – update!

Posted: July 14, 2019

Our next couple of gigs will be at the Princeton Pub, 1901 Powell Street in East Vancouver. First off, on Friday, July 19, we’ll be playing with our good friends Coach StrobCam and David M. Coach StrobCam features Pete Campbell (formerly of the Wardells and the Sweaters) with his collaborators “Coach” Greg Kelly and Rachel Strobl. David M., of course, was (is?) in iconic Vancouver group No Fun. Both Pete and David go back a long way with Tim, dating back to his 64 Funnycars and campus radio days.

We return to the Princeton on Saturday, August 17, as we’ll be celebrating a certain bass player’s birthday! We’ll be sharing the stage with Furnace Maintenance, featuring Chris Burnette of the Burnettes, whom we’ve played with many times in the past. It is sure to be a blast, here’s the link to the Facebook event page:

It’s been fun in June and July playing two high profile outdoor shows: in front of Red Cat Records for Main Street Car Free Day on June 16 and at the Khatsahlano Street Party on July 6. Thanks again to Red Cat Records for the Main Street gig and Zulu Records and Khatsahlano organizers for selecting us to play the Street Party. We were especially pleased that we were not rained on for both shows! We have some excellent photos and videos from both gigs–we’ve posted a few shots below and please check out our 2019 Photos page for more pictures and our video page for a sampling of our recent performances. See you at the Princeton!
