UPDATED: Album is out + Vancouver Island gigs, album release party Nov 3!
Posted: September 23, 2018We’re pleased to announce our fourth album, Hide in Plain Sight, is now out! It is available in LP and CD formats, and you can download it from CD Baby or stream it/download it from Bandcamp; it will also be available from most other digital platforms very soon! We’ve posted a couple of songs from the album on SoundCloud, “Nowhere to Go” and “Curated.” Check them out!
We’ve been gearing up for a bunch of gigs over the next couple of months to promote the album, including October shows in Nanaimo and Victoria, our Vancouver record release party at Pat’s Pub and a return to The Heritage Grill in New Westminster. Call it a Westcoast mini-tour if you want!
On Friday, October 12, we’ll be hopping on a BC Ferry to play Nanaimo @ The Nanaimo Bar, #2-75 Front St. Opening will be our good friends, the garage rockin’ Teenage Tiger, featuring screamin’ Steve Lebitschnig, owner of one of our favourite record stores anywhere, Fascinating Rhythm.

Then we head down the Island to Tim’s hometown of Victoria on Saturday, October 13 to play @ our favourite venue there, Logan’s Pub, 1821 Cook Street, with our pals The Tower of Dudes, along with a couple of electronica artists, Texture & Light (from Powell River) and Victoria’s Zephyr Nova. It’s being billed as “‘Old vs. New,’ a battle royale between old stinky rock vs. young electronica upstarts. The audience determines which will be the music of the future as we launch a human-sized statue of a man into the stratosphere!” We don’t think we’re THAT old, but whatever, it looks to be a fun night! We’ll be hitting the stage at the relatively civilized hour of 10pm, just in case you’re wondering. 🙂

As already announced, our Vancouver album release party is on Saturday, November 3 at Pat’s Pub, 403 East Hastings. It will be our first gig at Pat’s in ten years and we are so stoked to be playing there for the record release and sharing the stage once again with The Tower of Dudes and our local brothers in melody, The Top Boost! Presented by the wonderful Gabba Productions; advance tickets are available at Brown Paper Tickets.

And finally, a heads up about our Sunday, November 18 gig at The Heritage Grill in downtown New Westminster. We’re stoked to be playing at the Grill for the second time this year and we always have a great time there.
