Our new album cover and a song!

Posted: August 13, 2018

We’ve just finalized the cover for our fourth album, Hide in Plain Sight, and here it is right above!

For the third straight album, the front cover artwork is by the wonderful Sarah Gee Miller (a/k/a Mrs. Chan). And, as with all our other albums, we recorded it at JC/DC Studios here in Vancouver with the masterful David Carswell behind the board. It will be available in almost all current formats, including vinyl, CD, download and streaming.

We’ll be providing more details in the coming weeks leading up to when the album drops which, at this time, looks like mid-October, and we will also be announcing our album release party soon! In the meantime, as a preview, here’s a song from the album, “Curated,” featuring duelling 12-string electrics from Vern and Tim:

You can also download the song from the Cates Park Concert Series 2018 compilation album here:

We’re taking August off, and we’ll be back at it at The Princeton Pub, 1901 Powell St., East Van, on Saturday, September 15. We’ll be sharing the stage with our pals The New Black and celebrating the birthday of that band’s drummer and our good friend, the one and only Tony Lee! We’ll have a poster and Facebook event page up soon.

We had a great time at our July gigs at the Flamingo Lounge in Surrey and Cates Park in North Vancouver. Check out the photos from these shows and more on our 2018 Photos page.
