Footsteps on the Roof update + Fairview Pub gig on Dec 22

Posted: December 10, 2017

We are so pleased with the great response so far for our new seasonal/ Christmas song “Footsteps on the Roof“! A big thank you to those who have downloaded the song from our Bandcamp page — to date, we have raised $142 for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. Wow! If you haven’t done so yet, please go to Bandcamp and download the song; again, we’ll continue to donate all proceeds from these downloads to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. We haven’t set a target for our fundraising, but maybe $200 or more is possible? Let’s keep it going and thanks again! For more about how “Footsteps on the Roof” came to be, check out our previous post.

FYI, “Footsteps on the Roof” is also now available via streaming services including Spotify, Apple Music, Google PlaySoundcloud, CBC Music and, of course, YouTube. If you use any of these services, feel free to add our song to your seasonal playlist.

Our next gig is on Friday, December 22 at the Fairview Pub. We’re pleased to be sharing the gig with the garagey R&B of the VanRays (featuring two of Tim’s former bandmates from 64 Funnycars, Erics Lowe and Cottrell) and the theatrical, Zappa-esque Two Apple Tobacco. This will probably be your last chance to hear us play “Footsteps on the Roof” live until this time next year!

As well, we’re pleased to again be part of Bowie Ball 2018 at the Rickshaw Theatre early in the new year, on Saturday, January 6. This is the third annual celebration of the life and music of David Bowie, with proceeds going to the Canadian Cancer Society. Lots of great local bands and solo artists! Advance tickets are available at Redcat, Zulu, Highlife and Neptoon Records and online.

Happy holidaze!
