Updated – Two gigs in June!
Posted: June 11, 2017Happy June, everyone! We are so happy to welcome a bit of better weather here in Vancouver! We continue to keep busy with two gigs this month:
- On Saturday, June 17, we’re back at LanaLou’s with a couple of bands who just happen to be friends of ours: EddyD & the Sexbombs and Shadooby Rats. A great time is pretty much guaranteed and we’ll be the first band on at around 9:15. Click on the Facebook event page here.
- On Sunday, June 18, we’ll be playing the Main Street Car Free Festival for the third year in row, this time in front of Red Cat Records, 4332 Main St., near East 28th Ave. It’s great to celebrate another Father’s Day (Mike and Kevin are the pops in our band) playing outside in the sun (hopefully!). We’ll be on at noon sharp.
The evolution of our new material continues and our sets at both June gigs will again showcase pretty much all new songs and maybe even a small tribute to Paul McCartney on the occasion of his 75th birthday (June 18)!
Here’s a gallery of photos taken by prodigal son, Justin Lim, from LanaLou’s and in front of Red Cat Records on Main Street Car Free Day.
We’ve updated our previous post with some pictures from the May 26th Princeton Pub gig by the great Bob Hanham as well as a video of our cover of Paul Leahy’s/No Fun’s “Big Excitement” shot by Allan MacInnis. Take a look at the updated post here.
