Our Nick Lowe/Elvis Costello cover!
Posted: November 5, 2016We have a bit of a break between gigs (our next one is Friday, December 16 at the Fairview Pub, Vancouver), so we thought we’d share a new (and perhaps apropos) recording with you! Here’s our version of the Nick Lowe classic, “(What’s So Funny About) Peace, Love and Understanding,” originally recorded by Brinsley Schwartz in 1974 and probably most famously covered by Elvis Costello & the Attractions in 1979 on their Armed Forces LP (complete with video shot in Vancouver). Our version was recorded and produced by Adam Payne at his House of Payne Studio. Enjoy!
