Virgo-a-Go-Go gig and pics from IPO Festival
Posted: September 7, 2016We’re pleased to announce our next gig on Friday, September 16 at Russian Hall, 600 Campbell Ave., in the Strathcona neighbourhood of Vancouver. The event is called Virgo-a-Go-Go and all bands on the night have at least one member who was born under the Virgo astrological sign. For our band, it’s Tim! The event will be hosted by Marc L’Esperance, who runs Heavyosonic Studio in Vancouver and is a multi-instrumentalist who plays in bands including Big Top and the Neon Stars. Marc, of course, is a Virgo and will be celebrating his 50th birthday. We are stoked to be part of such a killer lineup which includes Marc’s aforementioned bands, along with Paul Pigat’s Boxcar Campfire, Ana Bon Bon, Wichita Trip and many others! Speaking of birthdays and Virgos… we celebrated Tim’s birthday by playing at this year’s International Pop Overthrow Festival Vancouver at the Fairview Pub!
