Cates Park, North Van this Sat, Aug 9

No rest for us! Our next gig is this Saturday, August 9 outdoor at Cates Park in North Vancouver, 4000 block of Dollarton Highway near Deep Cove. We’re pleased to be part of the Cates Park Concert Series this year, presented by Musart Cultural Society. We start at 4 pm, followed by two other local bands, the Spheres and Chatterton Eve. The show is all ages and free and the weather forecast looks good for Saturday, so bring the family for a picnic or buy a delicious burger at Wally’s!

Being in this concert series also marks the official release of our first song from our upcoming album to be released later this year. “Humble Pie,” our tribute to the great British singer Steve Marriott, will be on the Cates Park Concert Series CD that will be sold at the event. We’re very excited to finally have something out from our recent sessions at JC/DC Studios!

We had a blast on Monday at the Media Club with our friends from Victoria, The Tower of Dudes and Hearse. Both are great bands who have been on the road all over BC during the past few weeks. Here are some pictures of us from the gig, taken by the wonderful @lildrammerboy!
