Vancouver area gigs coming up!

Posted: July 23, 2014

We really enjoyed our time last weekend on Vancouver Island. Lots of great music and new friends! A huge thank you again to Mr. Johnny Feelings of The Tower of Dudes for helping to organize both gigs at the Cambie Esquimalt and at the Velvet Rut Chemainus Express Fest. And thanks to “the Dudes” for letting us use their gear in Chemainus and the Hex and Amy Casper for the use of their equipment in Esquimalt. The quality of the organization and music was top notch on both days; check out these great bands when you have a chance: The Tower of Dudes, the Hex, Amy Casper, Clunt and the Scrunts, Reid Williams, Rugged Uncle and the inimitable RADCo! Here are a couple of picture collages of us from the weekend.

Our spate of summer gigs continues in early August. We’ll be playing at the Media Club in Vancouver on BC Day, Monday, August 4 with the aforementioned Tower of Dudes along with their Victoria cohorts, Hearse. Then on Saturday, August 9, we’ll be playing at 4 pm at Cates Park near Deep Cove in North Vancouver. We’re pleased once again to be part of the Cates Park Concert Series, presented by Musart Cultural Society. We’ll be sharing the bill with two other local bands, the Spheres and Chatterton Eve. And the best thing about this particular gig, it’s all ages and free!

The poster for the August 4 Media Club show is below, along with a link to the Facebook event page and an additional link to more information about the Cates Park Concert Series.
