Summer is here and Happy Canada Day!Posted: July 1, 2013
Happy Canada Day! We’re happy to finally get some nice weather in Vancouver — sheesh, took long enough, eh?!
We’d like to send out a huge thank you to Mr. Richard Chapman, for putting on our recent June 22 show at the Railway Club with the noble Budokan, the glam-glitter gold of Polly and the rockin’ Vampire Bats, who debuted their excellent, Warhol-inspired video, “Baby Libertine.” It was a great night of music and we thought it was perhaps the highlight of the year for us so far. Thanks again to Richard and all the bands!
With summer comes holidays and we’ll be keeping a low profile over the next couple of months. We’re playing at a private party on July 6 and then we’ll be performing at a West 17th Ave. block party on July 27 — stay tuned for more info on that gig. We’ll be taking a break in August, but then will be back at it on September 10 for an early show at the Roxy, with Jesus Krysler. Watch this page, our Twitter feed and our Facebook page for more details about this gig and updates on other potential shows in the Fall.
Here are some pictures of our June 22 show at the Railway — thanks to Vincent and Corinne Kuan for the fantastic shots!
